A blog about science, more or less. If you need a mission statement, it’s my goal to write about things that I think are interesting. Most of the time it should be science related, but I won’t pretend that what I study is the most interesting thing that is happening.

Currently I am a Ph.D candidate at the Florida State University. I am interested in lots of things, but my research is driven to explore the ecological processes that affect marine biodiversity. For my dissertation research I am studying the ecological effects of red grouper habitat manipulation in Florida Bay.
